DESCRIPTION:

Specialist in orthopedics and traumatology, head of the Spine and Pediatric Orthopedics Clinic at the Poznań University of Medical Sciences.
He runs a highly specialized clinic at the Wiktor Dega Orthopedic and Rehabilitation University Hospital, leading a unique team of top-level professionals specializing in pediatric and adolescent spine surgery as well as lower limb reconstruction in congenital limb deficiencies.

He conducts research in collaboration with institutions in Poland and abroad — including France, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Greece, Spain, Japan, the USA, and Canada — resulting in scientific publications in prestigious international journals. His Hirsch index is 33. He has supervised thirteen PhD candidates in medical and health sciences.

He is active in international scientific societies such as the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS), Society on Scoliosis Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Treatment (SOSORT), International Research Society on Spinal Deformities (IRSSD), and the European Pediatric Orthopedic Society (EPOS), as well as national organizations including the Polish Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology, the Polish Society of Pediatric Orthopedics, and the Polish Spine Surgery Society.

He is an elected member of the Committee for Rehabilitation, Physical Culture, and Social Integration of the Polish Academy of Sciences, as well as the Committee for Human Development of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and a member of the Poznań Society of Friends of Science.
